Our story begins long before the first piece of leather was cut or the first brand was pressed. It begins with a love for the Western way of life, a deep respect for tradition, and a faith in Jesus Christ that continues to guide everything we do.

 

At the heart of C3x Leather Company is the story of Clay and Ali Collins—a husband and wife whose shared love of faith, family, Western heritage, and craftsmanship inspired them to create something meaningful together.

 

A Legacy Forged in the Arena

Clay Collins' journey in professional rodeo began long before C3x Leather Company came to life. Becoming a member of the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) in 1998, Clay built a respected career in one of rodeo's most demanding and dangerous professions—professional bullfighting.

​

Through years of dedication, Clay earned the respect of his fellow cowboys and the opportunity to work some of professional rodeo's most prestigious events, including Rodeo Houston, the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo, and the National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas.

​

From 2007 through 2009, Clay was selected to protect the world's best bull riders at the National Finals Rodeo for three consecutive years. His career also included nominations for PRCA Bullfighter of the Year in 2007 and 2011, reflecting the dedication and reputation he built within the sport.

​

But for Clay, the true meaning of rodeo has always extended beyond the arena.

It is found in the friendships made along the way, the sacrifices behind every accomplishment, the respect earned through hard work, and the generations of cowboys who have kept Western traditions alive. Those experiences, along with the values of faith, perseverance, and integrity, became part of the foundation on which C3x Leather Company was built.

While Clay's story was forged in the rodeo arena, Ali Collins brings the creative vision and hands-on craftsmanship that give C3x Leather Company its distinctive character.

 

As the designer and maker behind the brand, Ali brings together her love of Western-inspired style, timeless beauty, and thoughtfully handcrafted leather goods.

From envisioning a design to creating the finished piece, Ali takes pride in the details that make each creation special. Her passion lies in transforming quality leather into meaningful pieces that blend traditional Western influences with a refined, personal touch.

 

For Ali, the beauty of handmade craftsmanship is found in the process—the care behind each decision, the individuality of every piece, and the opportunity to create something that will be treasured for years to come.

The name C3x pays tribute to Clay's legacy in the arena, while the leather goods themselves reflect Ali's creative spirit and dedication to the craft. For us, leather is more than a material. It carries character, tells a story, and becomes more beautiful with time. Much like the traditions we hold dear, we believe a well-crafted piece should be made with intention, appreciated for its quality, and cherished for generations.
